  I had a single queen room on the 100s side. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean and smelled clean. Rooms have microwaves and coffee makers. They are undergoing some upgrades and renovations, so some rooms have flatscreens and others have old CRTs. They have a decent-size indoor pool, with sauna and hot tub. Hot tub seemed like it was cleaned regularly. Pool water is pleasant, on the warm side. Weight room is basic with dumbbells up to 45lbs. Machines and treadmills available. The manager, Brian, is pleasant to deal with. Recommended.

  This place is dumpy, even for northern Ontario. Arrived in winter and the road into the hotel and parking area were not well plowed. Upon pulling in, there was no Super 8 sign, but rather old signs for restaurants that previously occupied the building and were now closed, so it was unclear whether or not we were even at the Super 8. Even the paper sign on the lobby door said "Restaurant ___ now closed" but did not mention Super 8. Parking area out back by our room was not plowed. Room was freezing cold upon arrival. Old carpet and all-around out of date. Not clean. Room stunk like cigarrettes despite being a non-smoking room. Definitely was expecting a bit better from a relatively large hotel chain like Super 8. Would not recommend.

  Like the indoor pool but it could be cleaner, the hot tub , gym and sauna make it all worth while though.

  We were waiting to check in. One guy at the desk. Apparently there’s no breakfast because the cook has had emergencies for weeks. Got to our room, almost threw up because of the smell. We had to buy air spray so solve our smell issue. Beds were hard, pillows were garbage. I only came here because I wanted to snowmobile, but I’d rather spend my money on something else than stay here again until they fix they’re service, because they absolutely treated us horribly.
